ABBOTT LONGFORD

 

The “Alinity” expansion project has been commissioned to ensure the facility retains capacity to meet the anticipated global demand for Diagnostic Products.

The expansion will extend across approximately 9,615m² and constitute three primary Zones.

 

Zone 1 – Testing and Administration (2,860m²)

Zone 2 – Filling, Labelling, Kitpacking and Technical Space (4,735m²)

​

Zone 4 – Warehousing and Ancillary Administration (2,020m²)

Connaught was contracted to do all groundworks which included:​

• Bulk excavation & fill

• Foundations

• Drainage & drainage diversions

• Watermains

• Electrical services

• Road formation

All associated works were done to the highest quality of works while maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental issues on-site.
