IDA CASTLEBAR

The infrastructure upgrade works at IDA Castlebar includes resurfacing of the existing road and existing footpaths, upgrades to the public lighting, line marking and all associated civil works in the industrial park.

The project commenced in March 2026 and will be completed by June 2026.

​

Connaught was contracted to deliver this project in its entirety.

 

This included:

 

• Earthworks/excavation and disposal of material off-site

• Drainage, ducting and watermains

• Public lighting

• Road buildup, surfacing and kerbing

• Line marking

​

All associated works were done to the highest quality of works while maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental issues on-site.
